Outword’s Annual Homes and Gardens Issue 2022

Apr 14, 2022

We didn’t have much of a winter in Sacramento this year, but spring has definitely sprung! Outword decided to commemorate the change of seasons in two ways — with our ever-popular Homes and Gardens Issue, plus a lovely cover image of Ms. Paula Abdul, who is headlining White Party Palm Springs this year. That sexy queer event helps kick off spring at the end of April, and you can read a bit more about it — and enjoy some very hot White Party guy-candy — on page 28 of the paper.

There is so much more to read and enjoy before that, however, including information about upcoming Pride Events in other California cities, namely San Francisco and Los Angeles, and some fun and interesting things that are happening around our own town.

We have two winners for our reader garden photographs, we have a story about a new documentary, “The Big Hysto,” and Matthew’s Out and About column is here to keep us up to date on miscellaneous happenings going on all around us.

Then, there is Homes and Gardens stuff! Check out the article about Yardzen.com, especially if you are looking to upgrade your outdoor space. Also, be sure to check out the articles about Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore, the Importance of Native Bees, Jumper Maybach creating contemporary area rugs and building a vertical garden.

All of this and we still haven’t really touched on all the wonderful shows, movies and art installations that are open, running and ready for your support and enjoyment. There are some Wicked-good things going on!

You should know by now that this is just a short list of things you will find in the new issue of Outword Magazine! Get a printed copy, or read the issue online – as always, for free.

Don’t forget that we are quickly approaching the Season of Pride and Outword will celebrate with three Pride issues. As well as the fun content that these issues will include, they would also provide a great place to display your very own ad, so your customers can find you and make your day. Give Fred a call and reserve your space in all three issue, today!
