Our August 9, 2018 Issue is Out Now!

WOW! Goodbye Charlie

This is a special issue for us here at Outword Magazine (as well as Outword California). Our beloved editor, photographer, office manager, writer and all-around man about the town, Charlie Peer, has decided it is time to retire and start living the good life. So, Chris Narloch wrote a story and we dug up some fun photos of Charlie through the years. He will be missed, but he assures us he will be around.

WOW! And by that we mean Wide Open Walls! The mural festival is coming back to Sacramento again this year, and you can read all about it on page 12.

Also in this issue look for; “Drag Out The Vote,” Dining Out for Life Sacramento, “Out and About with Matt,” “LGBT Night at Six Flags…” and “Disco Queens Past & Present” – and so much more!

This issue turned out to be a very fun, informative issue and one that we are all proud of. We hope you enjoy it. And don’t forget, if you would like to see Charlie and wish him all the best in this next chapter of his life, stop by Badlands this Friday for our Happy Hour. It starts at 5:30 and the first 100 people in the door (no cover charge) get a free drink! Not to mention we will also have some great gift packages courtesy of Broadway Sacramento!. (However, “Mamma Mia” is sold out, so we will be getting “Little Shop of Horrors” tickets and stuff.)

It’s a good thing. See you Friday evening.
