We’ll See You Next Year446

We here at Outword are taking a couple of weeks off, and this December 8 issue marks our last issue of 2011. Our next issue after this one will hit the streets, fresh and ready on January 12 of 2012, with our 17th Annual Health and Body issue.

Our “Winter Break” during the holidays will give the five of us (Fred, Ron, Chris, Charlie and Kaye) a chance to see our families, celebrate a friend’s birthday in a very Disney way and maybe even stay out of the office for more than 24 hours.

The November 10 Issue of Outword444


The entertainers that seem to be a permanent show at almost every Las Vegas casino have a new traveling show. (Actually, Cirque Du Soleil traveled the world amazing spectators long before their first show at Treasure Island Hotel/Casino.) Frankly, we couldn’t be happier to see them in our neck of the woods again. And their new show, “Totem,” could very well be one of their best!

The October 27 Issue is Out Now.443 cover

The hair was longer, the love was freer and there wasn’t a single sampled music song on the radio. The musical production of “Hair” takes us back to a bygone era and will be traveling around the country and making a stop in San Francisco. Our very own Chris Narloch takes a look at it, and if you hurry, you can get a ticket to see this landmark show.
