Sacramento Pride Signs RuPaul Drag Race WinnerBebe Zahara Benet

Bebe Zahara Benet, the season one winner of Logo Network’s “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” will appear live onstage at the 2010 Sacramento Pride Festival, Saturday, June 19, at Capitol Mall.

Other Pride headline acts will include TWSS, or That’s What She Said, an L.A. musical comedy duo perhaps best known for their “U-Haul: The Music Video,” and Kaylah Marin, whose dance remix hit “On the Floor (Oh Baby Please)” currently is #4 on the Billboard Club Play Charts. “We have worked hard this year to find acts to appeal to a wide variety of audiences,” said Pride Chair Josh Jacoby. “Bebe is an amazing artist who has a major following here and in San Francisco. TWSS is a comedy/musical act that pokes fun at lesbian stereotypes and is fun for a wide audience. And Kaylah is a lesbian from San Francisco who has an amazing look and excitement. She seems very sweet and excited to be here, and she can't wait to invite her family who lives in the area.”Kaylaha
