Lt. Dan Choi Arrested at White House Protest
Lt. Dan Choi, an openly gay Iraq war veteran who has been an outspoken opponent of the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, and former Army infantryman Jim Pietrangelo were arrested Thursday, March 18, after chaining themselves to a fence at the White House.
Pietrangelo has been discharged from the military under DADT, and Choi has a case pending regarding his discharge.

Pop music is being redefined by the edgy, socially-aware, supremely tuneful themed melodies of a balladeer, whose creative sparks first ignited seven years ago, when a young vocalist named Marinus was auditioning new guitarists in Holland.
He came upon a string man and music arranger ‘with the best ears for sound’ named Erik and they joined forces with drummer Tijs and began writing hook-studded tunes demonstrating solid songwriting and storytelling.
Comments Sought on LGBT Housing Discrimination Study

While there have been no national assessments of housing discrimination targeting the LGBT community, there is a body of evidence suggesting this sort of bias exists, according to HUD.
To help fill that void, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has launched a new web site that allows citizens to comment on the design of an unprecedented national study that will examine housing discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
Philly Selected to Host US Mr. Gay Competition in 2010
Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection, has been selected to host the United States National Mr. Gay 2011 contest, the first time the contest will be held on the East Coast.
Mr. Gay United States brings together contestants representing the nation's most prestigious cities, a wide variety of celebrity judges, performers, and hosts, as well as spectators from all around the country.
