Jack and the Beanstalk Is a Lot of Fun

If you want to introduce your young children to the theater this is a great chance. Runaway Stage Productions presents, Storybook Theater, Jack and the Beanstock.
The small, intimate theater only has good seats, small, friendly casts and crew and audience interaction.
With a cast and crew of only thirteen they can afford to be friendly and helpful. Plus everyone is available for autographs after the show.
The family in front of me had a small boy who was terrified that there would be fireworks. So, the sound producer said to him, "If you get scared just turn around and wave to me and I’ll make sure you’re all right, okay?"
I thought that was so sweet, and that boy positively loved the show.
Everyone, moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and of course the children, all enjoyed the show. It was the perfect length, just right for the age group. Only an hour long with a fifteen minute intermission, during which, everyone got to learn the chicken dance.
And the season has many more productions to come.
Entertaining within the first thirty seconds it’s a good choice for children’s theater.
Jack and the Beanstalk plays one more Saturday, January 30, with shows at noon and 2 p.m. at the 24th Street Theatre, 2791 24th St. To get tickets, call Jack's mom at 916-207-1226 or visit RunAwayStage.com
