Love Honor Cherish Foundation and NOH8 Campaign Unite
In a move to drive marriage equality forward, Love Honor Cherish Foundation and NOH8 Campaign have teamed up to launch a new viral public education campaign to encourage activists to tell their stories about why we should have marriage equality today and the impact that waiting has had on the lives of LGBT families.
"NOH8 Campaign has been at the forefront of raising awareness for marriage equality and anti-discrimination through its interactive media campaign since the passing of Prop 8," said NOH8 Campaign Founder Adam Bouska. "We're thrilled to collaborate with Love Honor Cherish Foundation on an innovative campaign for marriage equality."
The launch and further details about the campaign will be announced at a benefit for Love Honor Cherish Foundation on January 22 being thrown by San Francisco based nonprofit Reason to Party.
"Having worked with Eric (Harrison) last year, as the 2011 Co-Chair of the San Francisco Equality Awards and knowing the importance of fearless and tireless dedication required to achieving full equality, we're excited to name Love Honor Cherish Foundation as this year's beneficiary to launch 2012," said Ari Kalfayan, Founder of San Francisco based nonprofit, Reason to Party.
The benefit and launch will take place at Vessel-San Francisco from 6-11 pm on January 22. NOH8 Co-Founders Adam Bouska and Jeff Parshley will be in attendance for the special announcement.
